This exhibition transmits a particular vision. The funerary bundle of a boy is buried by ancient settlers from the Inca times next to a pyramid in Pachacamac.

Such boy is accompanied to the "hanan pacha" (the heavenly underworld) by a pack of hounds, wise guides for the long journey of the child.

According to the finds displayed at the Pachacamac site museum, this scenario could have happened six thousand years ago.

In addition, three of these dogs are wrapped with cotton textiles and tied externally with vegetal-fiber ropes.

The other three dogs, due to its good state of conservation show the phenotype of a pre-Hispanic coastal dog, such as a short-haired dog of medium height, long tale and short ears.
