Brooks Running Shoes Bring Zombies to Life In Entertaining "RunDead" Ad

As the undead continue their onslaught on our mainstream consciousness, agency Leo Burnett Chicago and Matthew Wood of Whitehouse Post team up to stave off a zombie apocalypse in an epic new campaign for Seattle-based apparel/footwear brand, Brooks Running Company.

The centerpiece of the Brooks campaign, aptly titled The Rundead, could initially be mistaken for a scene from The Walking Dead, a hapless soul engaged in a seemingly futile attempt to escape an encroaching zombie horde. Working with Furlined’s Björn Rühmann and Leo Burnett Chicago, editor Wood weaves together a short film that takes a very unanticipated turn; propelling the human race forward from certain calamity toward horizons of hope—all on the soles of Brooks.
