Iran will present 7,000-year civilization in eight countries, Director-General of Iranian Museums Mohammad-Reza Karegar said on Wednesday.
Karegar said that exhibits featuring Iranian 7,000-year-old arts will be held in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, India, Mexico, Singapore and the US.
Karegar said that Iran gained valuable experience in organizing exhibits of cultural, scientific and historical artworks of Iran's 7,000-year civilization in Europe from 2000-2005.
He said that the government of President Hassan Rouhani oped for cultural diplomacy with the outside world.
He said that Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization will reorganize the exhibits with the aim of introducing a glimpse of Iranian rich civilization.
Iran's 7,000-Year-Old Exhibition including 178 valuable artworks dating back to ancient Iran was first held in Vienna Museum of Art History in 2000.
Success of the exhibition in Austria prompted the other countries demand hosting the event, Karegar said, noting that Germany, the Switzerland, Spain, Croatia and Belgium has so far hosted the exhibition.
After the 7,000-year old artworks were presented in an exhibit in Portugal in 2005, they were taken back home in the same year.
