Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R has launched the first instalment in its “The Art Of” campaign for M&S’ range of School Uniforms.
The spot, which will run on TV, Facebook and YouTube, features a montage of close-up photography and graphic imagery, showcasing the unique innovations found only at M&S. The energetic ad, titled ‘The Art of School Uniforms’, shows children enabled by M&S school uniforms, accompanied by bold colours and close-ups of the clothing details. It runs 4th September - the start of the new school term.
This is the first time that M&S has used “The Art Of”, which was introduced for its clothing range last September, for its Back To School campaign. The campaign is backed with a large media spend with media planning and buying through Mindshare.
Maria Koutsoudakis, Head of Brand and Marketing Clothing and Home at M&S said: “We’re really excited to take The Art Of campaign to the next level by showcasing our Back To School range. The explosive creative really highlights the quality and innovation of our school uniforms and we’re confident of great sales as a result.”
Jon Sharpe, CEO at RKCR/Y&R added: “A year on from the campaign launch, The Art Of... has proved once again its flexibility to strikingly showcase the innovative and quality product that customers love M&S for.”
